History of the laboratory
The laboratory "Mathematical modeling of
nonlinear systems" of the Institute of Mathematics named after V.I.Romanovsky of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of
Uzbekistan was established in accordance with paragraph 10 of the Decree of the
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 9, 2019 No PQ-4387. In accordance with Annex 5 to this resolution, the
division has 5 state units. At present, the department is headed by Doctor of
Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor J.O.Takhirov.
Leading researchers A.A.Saidov, D.N.Asrakulova, senior researchers M.S.Rasulov, A.N.Elmurodov and M.T.Umirkhanov and junior researcher Z.K.Djumanazarova also work in this department.
Research directions
The
staff of the laboratory conducts research in the following areas:
1. Mathematical modeling and study of
medico-biological and environmental processes;
2. Mathematical modeling of physical
processes and their study;
3. Conduct research on the
implementation of research results.

The main results
1. A chemotactic-haptotactic cross-diffusion model of the spread of
cancer tissue in the body is proposed. The model depicts the process of interaction
between cancer tissues, enzymes and cells of the body. A model research method
was developed;
2. A new local-unstable model of heat, mass and momentum
distribution based on parabolic and hyperbolic equations in a relaxation
environment was studied;
3. Methods for studying cross-diffusion systems modeling processes
in multicomponent environments have been developed;
4. The reaction-diffusion model of the distribution of harmful
substances was developed, studied and a numerical solution algorithm was proposed;
5. Multi-component models of nonlinear parabolic equations and
systems with free boundary have been developed and research methods have
been proposed.
6. The SIRS model of epidemic spread with free boundaries has been improved. Sufficient conditions are in place
for an epidemic to spread or stop.
